The nonprofit Friends of Trees offers tax-deductible gift trees for all occasions, tree care tips, volunteer opportunities, and updates on our work in increasing neighborhood tree cover and restoring natural areas in the Portland, OR-Vancouver, WA metro area. Since 1989 we have planted and cared for more than 340,000 trees and shrubs. We recently received national awards from the U.S. Conference of Mayors, The Home Depot Foundation, and The National Arbor Day Foundation.
